A course that doesn't try to impress you. It just rewards you.
Our championship 18 holes along Tellico Lake were designed with a simple philosophy: playable, memorable, and beautiful without the theatrics. You'll find good lies, true greens, and the Smokies on the horizon.
Championship routing, lake views
18 holes that weave along five miles of Tellico shoreline. Every fairway has a view, but none of them try too hard.

Greens that actually roll true
Bentgrass surfaces maintained at tournament standards. No tricks, just a fair putt from every spot on the green.

The Grill stays open late
Post-round burgers and cold drinks at the Golf Club and Grill. No dress code after 5pm. Just good company and Tellico views.
Practice that doesn't feel like work
A short-game area and putting green that let you dial in your wedges and putter without the crowd. Even the warm-up has a view.

A full-service marina where the water is the draw
Slips, fuel, seasonal storage, and a direct route to Tellico Lake's open waters. The marina is the heart of life on the shoreline.
Reserved slips
Covered and open slips available by the season. No waiting list — your spot is ready.
Fuel docks
Fill up before you head out. Premium marine gasoline and diesel at the dock.

Seasonal winter storage
Heated indoor shrink-wrap and dry storage to protect your boat through the cooler months.
Concierge dock service
Call ahead and a crew member meets you at the dock. Pump-out, wash-down, and provisioning handled.
Boat rental access
Members can reserve a center console or pontoon for the day without ownership upkeep.

Lake access ramp
A newly surfaced, wide concrete ramp for quick launching. Open to members year-round.
Water lapping at the pool deck, the echo of tennis, the hum of a full gym at work.
The sports complex is where mornings start strong and afternoons settle into something more relaxed. It is a space built for the active life, right here on the lake.

Resort pool
Sun warmed waters and lounge chairs with a view of the shoreline. Lap lanes in the morning, float later.
Tennis & pickleball
Two courts each, surfaced for clean play. Pickleball nights draw a good crowd.
Full fitness room
Treadmills, free weights, a wall of windows overlooking the lake. No wait. No crowd.

Exercise classes
Yoga, pilates, and circuit training scheduled weekly. Outdoor sessions when weather permits.
What members say about life at WindRiver
The golf course alone was enough to get us here. But it's the mornings on Tellico Lake and the evening walks through Brightwater Park that make us feel like we found something real.

I was hesitant about a community this close to Knoxville. Then I spent a weekend at the Lakeside Inn. The quiet, the views of the Smokies, the food at Citico's—I signed the papers before I left.

We keep our boat at the marina and our kayaks ready year-round. The kids spend more time on the water than on land, and we wouldn't have it any other way.

The sports complex is what sold us. It has everything—exercise facilities, tennis, a pool that actually feels like a resort. My husband plays golf, I play pickleball, and we meet for dinner at the Grill.
